What's AMASE?

AMASE is an international Double-Master's requirering between 6 - 12 months of stay at an abroad university.

Apart from the cultural diversity, you will have to find the specialisation that fits you the most (Metals, Polymers and Composites, Surfaces, Material Engineering and Manufacturing, or Bio- Nano-Technology)

This programm will right from the start, overturn the 'laissez-faire' attitude that many students have dapted after their Bachelor's and instead require far sighted and quick judgment and decision making. Here you will have to make a choice based on your own research inclination, your job preferences for the future, your language skill, but also your motivation to learn new languages, all to determine after one semester which specialisation you will want to take, and thus which university you will be going (not all universities have all tracks available)

Once you chose a track, you will either spend 6 months there, or, if you chose to do your thesis at the second university too, a whole year. By the way, no worries, the thesis will always be in English, just like many courses. But not all, so good understanding of the country's language, as well as eagerness to socialize with the people there are essential to performing well in all classes.

And in the end, not only do you get lots and lots of new friends from all over the world, speak an extra language and have a very specific set of skills that make you the top-player in every job-interview, each university will issue you a diploma as M.Sc Advanced Material's Science and Engineering.
